The ova freebird, with 85mm underfoot, blends modernity and tradition, with a flat tail and a subtle front rocker.
An ideal touring companion for anyone looking for a streamlined ski, the ova freebird has a strong alpine identity and will meet the demands of anyone looking for a thinner ski with which to tackle the high mountains.
Its freebird gene 1 core- paulownia wood with polar reinforcements under the bindings- makes the ova freebird noticeably lighter than the all terrain version. Despite this difference, it still has the same single beak DNA as its avatar – a light rocker and flat tail – which makes it extremely easy to handle and gives it a very responsive pivot. This synergy makes the ova freebird extremely user-friendly on soft snow and precise on rough terrain.
“Light, supple and very pleasant to ski on, the ova freebird is a magnificent all mountain ski. Compact and manoeuvrable, it's nice on the climb and a real treat on the decent, where its short turning radius comes into its own when carving through smooth or choppy snow,” says Julien Regnier.
